Amsterdam woman gets six months in jail for driving drunk with baby in car

An Amsterdam woman was sentenced on Tuesday to six months in jail for driving drunk and leading police on a multi-county chase in January.

Jessica L. Jordan, 33, was arrested on Jan. 5 after Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating a complaint in Clifton Park.

When officers approached, Jordan put her car in reverse and hit a patrol car before taking off again, police said.

The chase ended in Troy.

Jordan pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court in October to a felony count of driving while intoxicated.

She also received five years of probation.
