Amtrak service from Albany to New York City expected to resume Thursday morning, the company said.
Service has been suspended since last weekend, when structural problems were detected at a parking garage that sits directly above the tracks on West 51st St. in Manhattan. The problems included cracks and holes in the structure.
This all came amid an increased effort to inspect parking garages in New York City, after a three-story parking structure collapsed in April.
One person died. Many others were hurt, and dozens of cars were crushed.
