Police tell NewsChannel 13 on Saturday they arrested Craig S. Bemis of Delanson in the case.

Police Chief Daniel Harrigan says Bemis is a person of interest in a separate incident involving a 17-year-old girl who was allegedly approached as well.
He is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and 4th degree stalking in the case from last week. Scotia police say he was released on an appearance ticket.
Police say last week, he asked a young girl to get in his vehicle as she was walking to summer school.
The man, in a white truck, reportedly approached the same child on July 13 and July 14.
The girl was able to make it to school safely and report the incident.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
