According to the Berkshire County district attorney’s office, a hiker found the remains Thursday evening.
They were discovered in a heavily-wooded area near Fox Drive in Lee, Massachusetts, not far from where Marohn first went missing on March 29th, just two days after a planned hiking trip in the Berkshires.
Police say evidence collected so far indicates a high likelihood the remains are those of Marohn, and they’re expecting a medical examiner’s autopsy to confirm their assumption.
