Ballston Spa man faces theft, drug charges
State Police arrested a Ballston Spa man Wednesday on drug and theft charges.
Tony J. Prichard, 35, is accused of fleeing a Queensbury Walmart with merchandise valued at over $1,000. Prichard left the scene before police arrived at around 9:46 p.m. to respond to a report of the crime, according to a news release.
Troopers located his vehicle and stopped it on Aviation Road. He had felony-weight quantities of drugs in his vehicle, police said.
Prichard was charged with grand larceny, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and traffic violations.
He was taken to Warren County Jail to await arraignment.
