When you go to mass at a Catholic Church, you’ll hear hymns and organ music. However, on Friday, November 18, rock music will fill St. Edward’s the Confessor in Clifton Park.
The band Big Infinite is coming to the church to bring an important message to the Capital Region. It’s one the trio hopes will really resonate with our youth. It’s a message of hope and reminding everyone that mental illness is real.
The band tours nationwide, and features lyrics that key on mental health.
Stephanie Hughes is the driving force behind the big day. Just like Big Infinite’s lead singer, Jordan Lally, she knows a thing or two about depression and anxiety. Both took over her life at a very young age.

However, the 1995 Shenendehowa grad says no one talked about mental health when she was in school.
Now as an adult – though she’s much stronger – she still fights.
She wants better for our young people, and hopes the bands message hits the right note.
The concert goes from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, November 18. It’s at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park.
Registration and refreshments start at 6 p.m.
