Barn fire in New Lebanon resulted in death of some animals

Crews battled a barn fire in New Lebanon Friday morning that killed some animals.

The Lebanon Valley Task Force responded to the call around 9:45 a.m. at a barn on Route 9.

The Lebanon Valley Fire Chief tells us some chickens, ducks, and one goat died in the fire.

The fire was out after more than an hour.

The cause remains under investigation.
