Bennington County woman dead after crash

A 68-year-old woman is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Bennington County.

Vermont State Police said Kathyrn Brown, of Manchester, Vermont, was driving north on Route 7 in Sunderland just after 5 p.m., when she crashed the center lane and struck a southbound vehicle. That vehicle rolled on its side and was struck by a third vehicle.

Brown’s vehicle went down a small embankment, police said. She died from injuries during the crash.

The drivers of the other two vehicles had minor injuries.
