Bennington man accused of home improvement fraud

Vermont State Police tell us that 46-year-old Donald Crowley of Bennington is accused of not completing a home improvement project and refusing to refund the money for the project.

They say the victim reported a case of fraud on June 18.

Police say investigation revealed that Crowley did not complete the project and refused to refund the money to the victim after they had requested their money back.

Crowley was issued a criminal citation to appear at the Bennington Superior Court on October 21 for the charge of home improvement fraud.
