A wanted man from Bennington was caught behind the wheel of a car he wasn’t supposed to be driving, according to police.
Rex Lane, 48, was seen driving a car authorities were on the lookout for, Vermont State Police said.
Lane had a warrant out for failing to appear in court in a previous case.
After pulling him over, troopers discovered Lane could only drive a car with a built-in breathalyzer test, which his vehicle did not have.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30.
