Bennington woman accused of having child sexual abuse materials

A Bennington woman is accused of possessing child sexual abuse materials.
Amber Mason, 33, was arrested on Monday, and charged with sexual exploitation of a child, possession of child sexual abuse materials and promoting a recording of sexual conduct.
The Vermont Attorney General’s Office said Mason’s arrest followed a search conducted by the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which included personnel from the Attorney General’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations and the Bennington Police Department.
Mason pleaded not guilty in Bennington Superior Court and was released. Her access to minors, electronic devices and the internet is restricted as part of her conditions of release.
