Bethlehem man accused of possessing child porn
A Bethlehem man is accused of possessing child pornography.
State Police said Zaid Ijaz, 27, had images consistent with child sexual exploitation. The arrest followed a search of his home. The investigation began from a cyber tip received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Ijaz was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court and sent to Albany County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash, $30,000 bond or $45,000 partially secured bond.
