Bethlehem police investigating house fire that killed 2 cats
Bethlehem Police are investigating after they responded to the scene of a house fire Saturday morning.
At around 7:00 a.m., police received a call from the homeowners at 201 River Road in Glenmont saying they had a fire in their home in the upstairs bedroom.
Everyone was successfully able to evacuate the house, police said.
The fire was contained to the one bedroom.
One resident was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
2 cats did not make it and perished in the fire.
Bethlehem Police are still investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
