Nearly $15 million will help support tourism projects across New York state.

The money is coming from Empire State Development’s Market New York Program.

It goes to projects that promote travel destinations, attractions and special events.

The largest grant of $2 million was awarded to the arts center called Art Omi in Ghent.

It will help build 18 pavilions and a visitors center.
