This would affect several Capital Region communities that have dealt with this type of contamination, such as Hoosick Falls and Petersburgh.
The PFAS Accountability Act would also allow a court to award medical monitoring if, as a result of significant exposure, someone has suffered an increased risk of developing a disease associated with exposure to PFAS.
