Boil water advisory in effect in Amsterdam
The advisory comes after residents were without water due to a faulty pressure value.
The City of Amsterdam has announced a Boil Water Advisory for certain residents.
The city said the notice is effective immediately and includes residents on Northampton Road West to the city line who previously lost water.
Residents in the affected area will have to bring their water to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute before using it.
If residents have any questions about the water shut down of boil water advisory, they are being asked to call the Amsterdam Department of Public Works at (518) 842 – 3691.
