Boy, 15, charged in Troy convenience store robbery

A 15-year-old male has been charged in the robbery at a Troy convenience store last Saturday.

The teen is accused of entering Food Circus on 112th Street and throwing things at the cashier. Police say he is the person seen on video firing a flare gun that injured a store employee.

Troy Police said the youth, whose name is not being released because of his age, was arrested at the scene and will be charged in the juvenile justice system.
