Boy, 17, charged in weekend Albany homicide
A 17-year-old boy has been charged in connection with Saturday’s homicide on Morton Avenue.
Police responded to the area of Morton Avenue and Elizabeth Street, just after 7 p.m. Saturday.
Naheim Burbridge, 21, of Albany was shot. He died at Albany Medical Center.
Police also determined through investigation that the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the suspect and Burbridge, and that the two men knew each other.
The suspect has been charged with murder in the second-degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.

Albany Police are investigating a shooting on Morton Avenue.
He was scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Albany County Family Court.
