Broadalbin man accused of having child porn

State Police arrested a Broadalbin man for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Edward Hurst, 25, is accused of possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation. The investigation stemmed from a probation violation investigation, according to police.

Hurst was charged with two counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child.

He was arraigned in Fulton County Court and sent without bail to the Fulton County Correctional Facility.

The Fulton County Probation Department and Troop G Computer Crimes Unit handled the case.
