A man has admitted to setting fires at multiple properties in the village of Broadalbin, including two churches, during a 48-hour period last summer.
Leon G. Nadeau III, of Broadalbin, pleaded guilty in Fulton County Court on Friday to second-degree arson as a hate crime.

Leon G. Nadeau III, of Broadalbin, pleaded guilty in Fulton County Court on Friday to second-degree arson as a hate crime.
Nadeau intentionally set fire to the doors at Broadalbin Presbyterian Church and at St. Joseph’s Church, and other buildings.
No one was hurt.
Nadeau is scheduled to be sentenced on July 18.
