Bruce Hornsby cancels Empire State Plaza concert

Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers to play Empire State Plaza on July 4

The city of Albany is already gearing up for the Fourth of July. They announced Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers are set to headline New York State's 48th Annual Fourth of July celebration presented by Price Chopper/Market 32.

Bruce Hornsby’s Empire State Plaza concert has been cancelled.

The singer was supposed to perform in Albany as part of the big Fourth of July fireworks celebration, with his band, The Noisemakers. However, he is dealing with some vocal issues right now, according to his Facebook page.

This was a free show, but the Facebook post says all tickets to shows that have to be rescheduled will be honored on the new dates.
