Capital Region celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with immersive cultural events
You can start the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month right here in Albany Saturday at the Empire State Plaza.
There will be a tribute to Latin culture featuring a night of dancing, traditional cuisine, and music.
The free event kicks off at 5, and goes until 9 p.m
Then you can keep the party going on Sunday in Columbia County.
A parade will kick off at 1 o-clock at public square in Hudson.
Representatives from our area’s Latinx countries will parade down Warren Street holding their country’s flag.
That’s followed by a festival at Hudson waterfront, with Latinx musicians, dancers, artists, and food.
