Capital Region celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month continue Sunday

Columbia County is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Sunday afternoon.

The 3rd annual Latin-X Festival kicks off with a parade at the public square in Hudson at 1 pm.

The parade starts on Warren Street and ends at the Hudson waterfront around 2pm.

There will be performers, vendors, and contractors at the event — all of whom represent the Latin-X community.

The event runs until 6 o clock with an after party happening until 11.

And there’s also a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in the spa city Sunday afternoon.

The Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Saratoga Springs is partnering with the backstretch employee service team of New York by hosting the annual Havana Nights Showcase.
The event starts at 3 p.m. and will feature live music and a recital by the students and teachers of the dance studio.
Tickets are $15 and all proceeds will be donated to the backstretch employee service team of New York.
