Capital Region shelters ready to take in homeless

The winter storm has people concerned about many things – including travel hazards, power outages, and more.
However, for people who are homeless, it’s an entirely different story.
Liz Hitt heads-up the Homeless and Travelers Aid Society, or HATAS. She was homeless for a time after leaving the service.
Now her job involves getting homeless people off the streets and to shelter when cold weather hits and temperatures drop.
