An up-and-coming boat business is making a splash with its state-of-the-art solar-powered electric boats.

Solar Sal Boats has already made some boats for a few places around the state and country. One client is even using them for sightseeing nature tours because of their whisper-quiet engines.

Solar-electric boats are the future of fishing boats, according to the creators. They never need to be plugged in. They are powered by the sun. Thanks to internal batteries, they can go 50 miles without any sun at all.

The company is now working to take their dreams from Upstate New York out into the whole world.
