Capital Region’s first legal cannabis dispensary coming to Schenectady

The first legal cannabis dispensary in the Capital Region is getting ready to open.
Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Thursday that Upstate Canna Company will be opening in Schenectady on April 1.
The dispensary is located on Union Street and will be run by Don Andrews.
Andrews has experience running a variety of CBD and other vaping shops in Schenectady and Scotia.
They will be open seven days a week.
