A car has crashed into a Latham building.

The car went into Lab Corp at Newton Plaza, late Tuesday afternoon.

A patient was going in for blood work and thought her car was in park, the Latham Fire Department said. However, it was actually in drive.

The car took out the front door and two front windows next to it, and 12 feet of glass was shattered, the fire department said.

The car was removed, and work was underway to clean up the glass.

This is actually the third time this building has been hit in this same spot, firefighters said.

Thankfully, no one was hurt, they said.
