Carmella Mantello makes it official: she’s running for mayor

City council president Carmella Mantello is running for mayor.

Mantello has served three terms on the Troy City Council.
She ran for mayor back in 2011 and lost to Lou Rosamilia.
Mantello chose Valentine’s Day to announce her campaign – to symbolize her love for the city of Troy.

Due to term limits set in the city of Troy mayor Patrick Madden will not be able to run for a 3rd term.
