There's encouraging news for a puppy that survived a deadly plane crash in the Catskills last month. Whiskey is on the mend and healing from two broken legs, according to the Animal Shelter of the Schoharie Valley.

Whiskey is on the mend and healing from two broken legs, according to the Animal Shelter of the Schoharie Valley.
You may recall Whiskey was rescued from a high-kill shelter with two other dogs.
Sadly, the rescue plane he was on crashed in Windham.
Whiskey and a second dog were badly hurt and are recovering.
The pilot, Seuk Kim, and another dog were both killed.
Whiskey is expected to stay under vet care for four to five weeks, then find his forever home.
