A group of people gathered in Troy, to celebrate the man known as Uncle Sam.

The annual service took place at Oakwood Cemetery to commemorate the 258th birthday of Samuel Wilson of Troy, known as Uncle Sam, at his gravesite.

The ceremony was hosted by the Veterans of Lansingburgh.
