Changes coming to Albany metered parking

Changes are coming to Albany’s parking system.

Starting on Monday of next week, all street parking meters that end at 6 p.m. will end at 5.
Also, the 15-minute lockout period on the park Albany app will be removed.

That means for up to an hour after a parking session has expired, drivers using the app will be able to continue their parking session within the same zone.
As of May 10, no parking meter zone in the city of Albany will extend past 5 o’clock.
