Charity helping Saratoga County families now looking for their own help

Lifeworks Community Action is a charity that helps Saratoga County families that need a hand. It could now use a little help of its own.

The charity helps with everything from a Head Start program for kids to warm coats and food for families.

They have a soup kitchen, help immigrants, case management and have a food pantry that offers curbside service and delivery.

They’re helping more people than ever, and their 18-year-old delivery van is not getting any younger, so they held a big fundraiser at the Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs on Thursday evening, hoping to help them make ends meet.
