Couple reports kidnapping of young child on UAlbany campus
UAlbany police say a couple reported a young child was kidnapped in an armed robbery attempt on Monday.
Police say a couple pulled into the campus around 5:15 p.m. due to a flat fire.

They say two men approached their car. One displayed a gun, and the child was kidnapped.
The couple called 911 and then chased the car. The suspects placed the child on the side of the road a short time later, and drove away.
The suspects’ vehicle is described as a silver sedan like an Infiniti or Lexus.
Police say the victims are no longer cooperating.
