A member of a popular local children’s band is accused of sexually abusing a child more than two decades ago.
Stephen Bottino, 58, of Gansevoort, has been charged with sexual abuse. The victim is younger than 11 years old, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Bottino is a member of the Zucchini Brothers. The alleged crime happened back in 2003, investigators said. Police received the sexual assault complaint last Tuesday.
Bottino was arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and released.
