Clifton Park man arrested following investigation into weapon call in Milton

Shawn P. Flores, 46, of Clifton Park was arrested on Sunday by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office following investigation into a weapon call in Milton.

Officials say they responded to the call at 885 Middle Line Road at 10:24 a.m.

They say Flores is accused of having a deadly weapon, having previously been convicted of a crime, and restraining two people under circumstances that could have caused serious physical injury.

Flores is also charged with intentionally placing the same two people in reasonable fear of physical injury, potentially serious physical injury, or death by displaying a deadly weapon, said the Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say Flores is alleged to have pointed a pellet rifle at the two victims and refused to let them leave the location.

Flores was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of first-degree unlawful imprisonment
  • Two counts of second-degree menacing
  • Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon

The Sheriff’s Office says he was arraigned in Milton Town Court and taken to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
