Reid Scott grew up in Clifton Park and graduated from La Salle Institute in Troy before setting out on a career in acting. He moved to New York City, where he shared the same goal a lot of actors have: make it onto Law & Order. Scott would need to show some real patience and persistence though as his career took him to Los Angeles before returning to the east coast where he is now thriving in his opportunity to star on the NBC crime drama series as Det. Vincent Riley.
