Clifton Park teen turns Croc accessories into $250K business

What started with one 3D printer in a teenager’s bedroom has grown into a booming business making quirky Croc accessories—and it all happened before high school graduation.

Michael Satterlee, 17, is the founder of Solefully, a company that produces custom clip-on accessories for Crocs, like miniature snowplows, headlights, and construction-themed add-ons. After learning 3D printing in a design class, he spotted a trend online and decided to turn it into a business.

“I just started posting TikToks of the designs, and one of them blew up,” Satterlee said.

From there, the demand skyrocketed. Printers began filling his bedroom, then the dining room, and eventually the whole house. When his parents urged him to find more space, Michael relocated his operations to a 1,500-square-foot warehouse in Clifton Park.

Solefully now runs 50 printers and fulfills thousands of orders monthly. The company earned $250,000 in 2024 and is projected to reach $300,000 in 2025—all without spending a single dollar on advertising.
