Clifton Park woman arrested for criminal contempt, aggravated family offense
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rebecca A. Wheland-Kruger, 51, of Clifton Park for criminal contempt and an aggravated family offense.
Authorities say they responded to a report of an active domestic incident on June 27 around 2:41 a.m. on Moe Road in Clifton Park, which she had violated an order of protection by being present in the residence of the protected party.
Wheland-Kruger was arrested for first-degree criminal contempt and an aggravated family offense.
Authorities say she had a previous conviction for second-degree criminal contempt within the last five years, therefore the charge this time was upgraded to a felony.
The Sheriff’s Office says Wheland-Kruger was also charged with committing a specified offense given she was convicted of a specified offense within the last five years.
Wheland-Kruger was arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail or bond pending further action.
