Climate Action Council scoping plan approved
A panel of experts has approved a plan for how to reach New York State’s energy goals.

The New York State Climate Action Council scoping plan outlines recommended policies and actions to help meet the goals and requirements of the nation-leading Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act.
Tuesday, we caught up with DEC commissioner Basil Seggos, who said this plan was the result of the tireless work of the council over three years.
The plan will be submitted to the governor and the state legislature by January 1st.
