Cloudy skies from Helene for the weekend

Skies stay mostly cloudy tonight as lows drop into the 50s.

The remnants of Helene should stay off to our south over the weekend and on Monday, but there will be more clouds that move through from time to time, filtering out the sun. It will stay mostly dry with just a chance for a few isolated showers. Highs will be in the lower 70s both days.

By Tuesday and Wednesday, the combination of the remnants of Helene and a trough pivoting through the Great Lakes will produce scattered showers. Highs will be in the 70s Tuesday and in the 60s on Wednesday. It will dry out behind this system by Thursday of next week.
