A Cobleskill couple is accused of living in someone else’s home for about a week without permission.
Melissa Johnson, 44, and Jesus Lanauze, 58, both of Albany, were charged with criminal trespass, criminal tampering, and conspiracy.
State troopers responded to a home on Route 7 in Cobleskill last Sunday for reports of a trespass.
An investigation determined that Johnson and Lanauze had been living in the unoccupied house without permission from the owner.
The couple will appear in court next month.
