Cohoes High School break-in under investigation

Cohoes High School was broken into and vandalized Sunday night. The district said in a message to parents that the main office, principal's conference room and librarian's office were damaged. Some things were also stolen.

The district said in a message to parents that the main office, principal’s conference room and librarian’s office were damaged. Some things were also stolen.
District Superintendent Peggy O’Shea said, “While this situation is disheartening, I want to use this unfortunate incident as an opportunity to reinforce the importance of respect – for our schools, our community, and each other.”
The building has been cleaned and is safe, the district said.
The district said the Cohoes Police Department is investigating and has confirmed it was an isolated incident.
