Cohoes hosting free back to school event

There is a free back to school event for kids in Cohoes Sunday.

Officials from the city of Cohoes and community leaders will join Gent’s Barber Company, as they host the first back to school bash for local children and families.
In addition to providing free haircuts to all children in grades k-12, Gent’s will be providing free backpacks full of school supplies to help families prepare for the coming school year.
There will also be live entertainment, games, and food vendors throughout the day.
The event is from 9 until 3 o’clock in Canal Square Park on Remsen Street.
