Cohoes man gets over 11 years in prison for trafficking methamphetamine
A Cohoes man has been sentenced to over 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to trafficking methamphetamine in the Capital Region.
Andrew O’Connor, 36, admitted in U.S. District Court in Albany to distributing ounce quantities of meth in Cohoes in March, April and June 2022. He also had a shipment of over one pound of methamphetamine sent to him around June 15, 2022. Investigators seized the package before it was delivered to him, according to a news release.
O’Connor also admitted that after his arrest on federal charges, he contacted a co-conspirator to make arrangements to have the co-conspirator delete the information on several of O’Connor’s cell phones.
