Cohoes man sentenced in Clifton Park daycare center bomb threat
The Cohoes man who called in a bomb threat to a Clifton Park daycare center was sentenced Monday afternoon to six years in state prison.
Brendan Ryder called Kindercare in Clifton Park on March 15 and said, “bomb threat.”
Staff evacuated all of the children from the center and moved them to a safe location. State police and their K-9 officers swept the facility and found no evidence of an explosive device.
Judge Jim Murphy also sentenced Ryder to five years of post-release supervision.
