Cohoes pizza shop hit by fire

Cohoes firefighters responded to a fire at a pizza shop late Tuesday night.

The fire broke out on Ontario St. There was heavy smoke and fire when they arrived, according to Fire Chief Joseph Fahd.

“The guys made a quick stop on it,” he said.

No one was hurt. The cause is under investigation.

Fire departments from Green Island, Watervliet and Watervliet Arsenal and Watervliet ambulance assisted at the scene.
