Corinth man arrested for allegedly stealing person’s vehicle and damaging property

25-year-old Alajhed J. Carl of Corinth was arrested on Saturday by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office following investigation into a domestic call.

Authorities say they responded to Seventh Street in Corinth around 3:52 a.m. Saturday for an active domestic incident.

Investigation into the complaint led to Carl’s arrest, which he is accused of intentionally damaging property of another person in an amount of exceeding $250, said police.

The Sheriff’s Office says Carl is also accused of taking a motor vehicle without consent of the owner.

In addition, he is accused of subjecting another person to physical contact with the intent to harass or alarm them, said police.

Carl was charged with the following:

  • Second-degree harassment
  • Third-degree criminal mischief
  • Third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle

He was arraigned in Corinth Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
