Corinth man arrested for committing aggravated family offense and violating order of protection

53-year-old Dean E. Harrington of Corinth was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office following a public assist call made on January 14.
Officials say they responded to the call on Mill Street in Corinth around 11:24 a.m., which investigation into the call led to Harrington’s arrest.
He is accused of committing a specified offense under the statute having been convicted of one or more of the specified offenses within the last five years.
Police add he was also charged with violating an order of protection by contacting the protected party.
The Sheriff’s Office says Harrington was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense (a class E felony).
He was released on appearance tickets from Corinth Town Court pending further proceedings.
