Fire crews battled a large-scale fire overnight at 1 Front Street in Amsterdam, with multiple fire departments called in to contain the fast-spreading flames.

Fire officials said the fire broke out around 10:45 p.m. Sunday night. Due to the severity of the blaze, additional firefighting units were dispatched to assist.

As of this morning, authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire but have confirmed that neither the firefighters nor civilians were injured.

Emergency crews remained on the scene through the night, working to extinguish hot spots and prevent further damage.
