Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is set to testify about his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic on Wednesday.
Cuomo is expected to talk about how the state dealt with the virus, as well as why more than 15,000 nursing home residents died.
At least six of Cuomo’s former top aides have testified before a congressional subcommittee so far.
One policy that was criticized was forcing nursing homes to accept COVID patients discharged from hospitals.
Cuomo’s appearance will come one week after Rensselaer County Executive Steve McLaughlin spoke before the same panel.
